The British Council
'English Country Schools' has been running for over 20 years and is Accredited by The British Council. Inspectors visit to examine the premises, teaching, food, welfare, etc. This encourages excellence and ensures that your child will be well taught and cared for.

24 hour supervision
Students are under the constant care and attention of experienced staff from arrival to departure. Safety is an absolute priority. Each boarding house has its own House Parent to oversee the supervision and welfare of the children. The atmosphere is friendly and caring and a local doctor is available 24 hours. English UK
'English Country Schools' is a member of the language teaching association English UK and a founder member of its Young Learners special interest group. Membership provides additional safeguards and benefits for students.
Regular reporting
Parents will receive a 'settling in' report from their child within the first few days of attending the course. They will also receive a teacher's report at the end of each full teaching week and a report from activity staff and house parents at the end of the child's stay.
