The first weekend at Sibford is drawing to a close and what a weekend it was. Everyone had a fantastic day at Warwick castle on Saturday. A really interesting venue, Warwick provided everyone with lots to do and see. Eleanor's class had built trebuchet in their class the day before with great success. Having destroyed the model castle they built to practise on, classes set off to see the real thing, and very spectacular it was too. Fantstic. Following the castle, we set off to Leamington Spa for a spot of gentle shopping in this lovely old spa town. A great day out all round.
Today was a lovely sunny day in Sibford so we set out the traditional Sunday activities of music, jewellery making and crafts on the decking whilst the more energetic souls played volley ball and football, swam and raced on Sibford's new fleet of Space Hoppers. To top things off we all had a good dose of traditional English culture when two local cricket sides played a league match on the school pitch.
