ECS Port Regis for children 7 - 10

At Port Regis we aim to create a warm, fully supervised environment in which children will feel safe and secure while they make new friends and improve their English.

The children have their own separate accommodation in the main building with their own English lessons, excursions and activity programme appropriate to their age.

The staff to student ratio is 1:5. A maximum of 30 boys and 30 girls sleep in comfortable bedrooms of up to six children.

Male and female carers under the general supervision of Christopher and Sarah Etchells make sure they sleep at a sensible time, eat and wash properly, change their clothes regularly and get to activities and lessons on time.

A play leader helps to occupy the children during free time and there are two adventure playgrounds on site, including a fully risk-assessed tree house complex, to provide safe and healthy fun.

We do not recommend that parents live locally while their child is at the school - see advice document here. We do however have some limited family accommodation at Port Regis for parents who’d like to live on site with their children. Please enquire for details.
